A love letter to pain

Cutting through the crevices yet blossoming you with lessons to embrace

Love letter to pain

I have always talked about the nuances of love and beautiful warm fuzzy feelings about love, . But today I want to dive deep into the crux of love, the shades of grey behind the shiny and lustery surface of love . Falling in love is easy, but living with it forever is a constant battle. I am painstakingly and very candidly saying that, loving someone is the most beautiful yet the most hurtful thing. Because when you love someone, they knowingly or unknowingly will hurt you.

Love is like a rose flower, its red petals give serenity and its thorns prick our hands reminding us that the person we love can hurt us too. In his insecurity, in his fears, in his tears, they can hurt us too. You cannot hurt the person you do not love. And pain is the constant truth of life. The scars we carry make us wiser, sharper, and stronger. Every time someone betrays us, we learn to attach ourselves to nothing. But this doesn't mean we stop loving the people we love. But we have to realize in the end that we have to keep ourselves first.

An ode that helps us realize,

In self-love, all the truth lies.
