A Little Star in the Clouds

Whispers of love in a fading memory

By Rohitha LankaPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

A little star that hid in the clouds at night

It shone like a painting in my heart

The eyes that waited for a day

I searched for it in the book of memories

A tone that was turned upside down

It hid among my thoughts

A teardrop that was blurred in love

A moon filled with art

And hidden in the sky

The smile of Laura's eyes still

Stayed and disappeared

The heart was filled with tears

The wings of love were broken and disappeared

And the old memory

The heart was still drunk with the love of a painting

The heart was unable to recognize

The heart could not meet

The loneliness of the world still

To extinguish the fire that blooms in memories

Even though the tree grew, the branches grew

The fragrance spread, and the flowers bloom

Love died

The heart did not want to remember
