A Little Push
Janus - Roman God of New Beginnings

Janus watched her wallowing despair
Tumultuous tears through the hectic nights
Something suddenly made him care
He would set her life right
Finally leaving that decrypted place
Crossing the country into paradise
Overjoyed she’d rolled the dice
A smile overcame her as she reached her new life
A world upside down from the one she’d just known
Her shoulders relaxed no longer carrying pounds of strife
She couldn’t wait for this adventure that was her own
The rays of the sun smiled down upon her
Balmy winds swirled throughout her hair
The endless summer would never lose its lure
She saw the tropics as a mystical fair
Having waited ages
To get everything right
She was now on new pages
Janus beamed at the sight
