A Life Preserved

a poem on life

By Nav k AidanPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

A fleeting moment, a choice so small,

A hand extended before the fall.

A whispered word, a second glance,

A twist of fate, a saving chance.

In shadows deep where fear may grow,

A light appears, a steady glow.

Not grand, nor loud, nor wrapped in gold,

But kindness warm and courage bold.

To save a life is not just might,

It's love, it's hope, it's guiding light.

A ripple sent upon the sea,

A chance to live, to simply be.
