Dear Death,

You have taken so much from us. This year, three heartbreaks was too tough. I think about those who left without our say. We are working hard to make them proud every day. GG and Papa fought you with all their might. However , you took Dad from us unexpectedly in the night. While I know that your job is not easy to do, I hope that for awhile we are done with you.

It’s time for us to heal without them by our side. This is my request to you. I hope that you can abide.

Sincerely,

Jacqueline Conway
