A Joyful Life

a poem in celebration of life

joyful life by Solomon

The transient allure of life flutters like a butterfly,

A fleeting flight that stirs our senses, soaring high.

In this vibrant world, pulsing with vitality,

Life is a delicate essence, a fragile trinity.

The radiant sun, the harmonious birdsong,

A symphony echoing through the expanse we belong.

We bask in its warmth, invigorated and unstrung,

A fleeting moment stirring our feelings, forever young.

Life, a mirror to the river's ebb and flow,

Its tide swelling and waning, just as we grow.

We embrace life's treasures and let them go,

Like the receding tide, leaving us feeling hollow.

Every moment we must fully embrace,

Savouring joy, letting it take its place.

Life's brevity teaches us to make haste,

Immersed in the present, not letting it go to waste.

The sweetness of life is a potent fragrance,

Do not doze, for therein lies its radiance.

We must relinquish and surrender,

Embracing each moment, wholly and forever.

Alive, we stand, revelling together in kind,

Grasping life's sweetness, leaving darkness behind.

Seize the day, dispel the sombre air,

Our song echoes loudly, declaring our flair!
