A journey to the dream realm

Sleep-addled

By Suge Acid HawkPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
The God Tree

The dreams rage on like an angry river.

The message is there but to me,

I cannot decipher.

This enigma is a web;

I am tangled but I tend to wield

equanimity like a sword.

The ethereal dreams, like an unobtainable goal…

I deeply yearn to understand.

Why does Creator bring me to this place?

Night after night,

I wait for some eumoirous lesson.

I crave the education.

When I wake up, there is no euneirophrenia.

There never is, and the message evanesces away.

The fabular set up dies.

I am left sleep-addled from such a pipe dream

constructed purely of hope.

I am wistfully aware of the highs I’m chasing.
