A hue

Deep hues

When I think of the color blue

I think of you

Its dark hue

As if it’s my beau

When I think of the color blue

I wonder who decided to compare such a hue

As if the sky doesn’t have its brightest days when it’s blue

Yet the feeling of blue seems to haunt us like the deep sea

So deep

So blue

So infinite in its affairs

Yet when has our feelings ever played fair

Life is like the color blue

So beautiful

So dark

Blue made its mark

A poison ivy

A beauty too uncomfortable

Its only way of affection

Effects all men

Blue …
