Eventide descends on disheveled wing,

I orbit, a lost thing set asunder.

Ever obscured in pursuit for a king,

Disoriented, I was encumbered.

I turn and drown in an ocean of blue,

One second passes, then two and then three.

My soul cried out the king I sought is you,

That heartbeat expands an eternity.

My tempo raises, echoes like a drum,

Bidden am I but to follow its beat.

Each foot fall taken has brought me to come,

To the pathway for us to one day meet.

Each day for you my love I vow to show,

A few seconds of a glimpse, this I know.
