A Haunting a Halloween night

Halloween night poem

By CHRISTIAN PPublished about a year ago 1 min read

The moon is high, the sky is dark,

A chill spreads wide, ignites the spark.

Winds whisper secrets, shadows creep,

On Halloween, the restless leap.

Lanterns flicker, orange and gold,

In hollowed pumpkins, tales untold.

Ghosts glide softly through the mist,

While bats and owls in flight persist.

Witches laugh and stir their brew,

Spells of mischief, old and new.

Skeletons dance, their bones alight,

Beneath the stars, so cold and bright.

Beware the path, where wolves do howl,

And lurking creatures on the prowl.

For in the night, the spirits roam,

'Til dawn brings light and leads them home.

So gather close, let laughter ring,

And celebrate the eerie thing,

That makes this night both fun and fright—

A haunting, thrilling Halloween night.
