A GREAT FRIEND

I have a great friend, who is very dear to me,

And this person is as nice as can be.

When sometimes I would be discouraged and needed a good cheer,

This great friend would always be there.

We became great friends ever since we met.

And to this day I have nothing to regret.

I love this friend as a member of my family,

And with open arms, I welcome my friend readily.

To have such a friend is not easily found.

I am just lucky and our friendship is sound.

My friend even sometimes prays with me,

When things are not goin, the way they should be.

When I needed anything, my friend would be the first to know,

For my friend's kindness will surely show.

I am very happy to have such a great friend,

For on this friend I can surely depend.
