A Full Pack Before the Roll

Gamblers Beware of cheats

A Full Pack Before the Roll

Make sure you have a full pack of cards

Before you roll the dice,

Half a hand won’t save your skin,

And luck won’t strike you twice.

The table’s set, the lamps burn low,

The whispers curl like smoke,

A missing piece, a reckless bet,

The game turns men to ghosts.

The queens, the kings, numbered ones,

All must be in their place,

For empty decks and hollow hands

Will fold without a trace.

Don’t chase the odds with broken rules,

Or wager what you lack,

For those who roll with half the deck

Will never win it back.

So count your cards, make your move,

And weigh the final price,

A fool who plays with missing hands

Will always pay it twice. ♦️♥️♠️♣️

In playing any games of chance, you give great advice. Good job.

  • Yes, make sure to know everything before taking action! I sometimes have problems with this! A great reminder.
