BFF in our bracelet is engraved

When we were kids and used to play

Although we're old and wrinkled now

we're still happy and make funny faces that make us giggle

A path we walk on everyday

I still see the crack formed from our outlandish days

an accident that still is told to this day

that my old friend won't live down for the rest of his days

I always keeping him in line

a bad boy he was every girl stood in line

Although when I found my man it seemed he founds his too

and next things you know we both had our weddings on the same day

Our kids growing up and us getting older

a big family we were, never ever lonely

our kids are best friends and are growing up so fast

next thing you know we're old and alone together again

for everyone has passed

A rare find he is and I

two friends that have lived the test of time

at the end of our days we won't say farewell

we'll be holding each other refusing to let go

love poems
