A friend knows all your secrets
And loves you anyway.
A friend will be there for you, always
No matter what.
A friend will make you smile
When you want to cry
A friend always has an ear
When you need to talk.
A friend will give you advice
Even when you don't want to hear it.
A friend will invariably be there for you,
Through good times and bad.
If luck has blessed you with a friend like that,
Hold on to them tightly.
Because friends are like the stars,
Even if you can't constantly be with them,
But you know they're out there
And only a phone call away.
