A Forgotten field

Yet some enigmas linger, refusing to yield, A puzzle unsolved, a forgotten field.

Deeds done, scores unsettled,

Degraded gratitude, paths tangled.

Echoes of regrets, whispers unmet,

In the shadows of memories, lies the debt.

Unspoken words, wounds still bleed,

Fragments of trust, scattered seed.

Each step forward, weighed with doubt,

As the past's heavy burden, we continue to tout.

Friends they said, we were for life,

Unsaid plans, always said otherwise.

Grouping along, a dark vent resides,

Yet, it all came upon, a burden of sight.

Looking back, you never understand,

Which parts to cherish, which to reprimand.

Living as if there was never a strand,

To guide us through the shifting sand.

No one knows, what went wrong,

Was it fate, or us playing God?

Was it mere chance, or our choices flawed,

In the tangled web, where our hopes clawed?

As we ponder, mysteries of the past,

Memories like shadows, forever cast.

In the labyrinth of time, we roam,

Seeking solace, yearning to atone.

Each moment a whisper, each memory a sigh,

As we unravel the truths, bidding lies goodbye.

Yet some enigmas linger, refusing to yield,

A puzzle unsolved, a forgotten field.
