A FOODIE'S LOVE SONG
A Letter To A Foodie Bestie

A Foodie's Love Song
Oh, darling of doughnuts and croissants divine,
Your love is as rich as a fine vintage wine.
You whisk me away like a soufflé in flight,
My cravings for you keep me up every night.
Your smile’s like the sizzle of bacon at dawn,
A melody sweeter than crème brûlée’s song.
You butter my biscuits, you salt all my fries,
The sparkle of cheese in your fondue-like eyes.
We tango through kitchens with spatulas raised,
Our pasta’s al dente, our garlic is braised.
I’ll love you through smoothies, through burgers and stew,
From sushi to tacos, and curry fondue.
But beware, my sweet pie, there’s one thing to note,
I won’t share my pizza—not one single goat.
For deep in my heart, though my love’s not in question,
Pineapple on crust is my only objection.
So here’s to our feast, our culinary dance,
A buffet of romance, a gluttonous chance.
Together we’ll dine, till the end of all time,
My foodie, my love, my partner in thyme.
