She was so young,

so shy,

so very quiet.

Her voice was soft and

often lost on the wind.

She was reserved,

and withdrawn.

So lonely.

Left in confusion,

afraid,

and unsure,

her feelings always ignored.

She felt broken,

imperfect,

and defeated,

her sense of self only an essence

of what she could have been.

Now,

like a flower blooming in Spring,

with the sunlight touching her soul.

She is coming back to life and

recovery will begin.

With strength,

resilience,

and survival.

She is able.

She is mighty.

She will discover herself,

she will grow,

reflect,

feel,

And finally,

she will heal.
