They say sorry doesn’t always fix it

And actions speak louder than words

And even when we think we deserve it

Respect is not given, its earned

Many time’s we try and fail

We fall just short of the line

But the strong get up and start again

And are always willing to try

Strength may come in many forms

Its each to their own

It’s the struggles that we endure

That shape us when we’re grown

Life is not an easy ride

It’s often filled with pain

Find gratitude in the little things

And live a life not lived in vain

Smile and say I love you

Connect and show you care

Cause one day you may wake up

And that somebody won’t be there

Stop dreaming of the future

Stop living in your past

Cherish every moment

As the present is all we have

About the Creator

Fraser Adams

I am a writer of poems. They come to me and I write them down. They have no names, some have no apparent meaning, some are from personal experiences and some are just for fun.
