A Feast for the Senses
The poem inspired by the five senses
It was a day for the senses, my love,
And oh, what a feast we had!
We tasted, smelled, saw, heard, and felt
All the wonders the world had.
Our day began with a kiss,
A taste of love so sweet,
As we breathed each other in
And let our hearts skip a beat.
We smelled the flowers in the garden,
A fragrant bouquet so fine,
And savored the aroma of coffee
As we sipped it, divine.
We gazed upon the mountains,
So majestic and so grand,
And watched the sunset together
As we walked hand in hand.
We listened to the music
As it filled the air with song,
And felt the rhythm in our hearts
As we danced all night long.
We tasted the finest cuisine,
A meal fit for royalty,
And sampled every dish and drink
With joy and hilarity.
We felt the warmth of the sun
As we basked in its golden light,
And cooled ourselves in the breeze
As it swept through the night.
Our senses were alive that day,
And we reveled in everyone,
For we knew that life is short,
And these moments must be fun.
So let's make every day a feast
For the senses and the heart,
And enjoy the wonders of life
That we've been given from the start.
