A Familiar Kind of Chaos
There can be such beauty in transformation
By Amy LovettPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

The moments tick down to the autumn equinox
Our bodies feel the change in the air
A little crisper, a little cooler
Humidity deflates
Voila!
A red leaf appears
Where there once was green
Hillsides brushed by a divine painter
The autumn harvest fills our bowls and bellies
Fruits of the summer begin to dwindle
The squirrels scurry endlessly
Flowers close and wilt
Sunset
Darkness creeps in
Finding us sooner as days pass
The world readies itself for a slower pace
Every living thing starts to move inward towards source
We reach for closeness with one another
Animals ready their homey nests
Plants reclaim ground
Fall
