A Face in the Clouds
It's amazing what you can see if you just open your eyes to the incredible world all around us.
When we sleep
Our eyes are closed
When we awake
Our eyes are opened
And we start a brand new day
Yet, do we truly see?
The cares of the world are all around us
And, sometimes, it's easy to forget
That there is more to life
Than what is right before our eyes
Still, we don't have to look much further
Than the Earth beneath our feet
The treeline against the horizon
Or the skies above our heads
To catch a fleeting glimpse
Of what is eternally
And truly beautiful
About our precious world
Like a face
In the clouds...
