A Dart To The Heart
‘Black Rose’ Poem Collection
By George GriffithsPublished 5 years ago • 1 min read

As it all slips away,
I’m left to be alone again,
why did you have to go?
Knowing I’m only a memory
A dart to the heart
They say, all good things end
But go ahead and say the things you have to say,
You’ve left me empty for words
A dart to the heart
My heart slowly pumping the last of my blood,
It’s empty
Trying to clasp broken dreams,
Hopeless now
It all slips away
Perhaps I shall lay in bed,
Lay pondering
Remembering,
Thinking of all the happy memories
Because they were happy
