A Dangerous Mind

Trapped inside your own mind

Is the most dangerous place you will ever find

The beasts that are trapped in there are more wild than the zoo

There is no where to escape to

The demons and thoughts in your head are the true monsters in life

You can't run from them like you can people, your just stuck to deal with the strife

Sometimes these demons force us to be stronger, other times they tear us apart

The only way to stop yourself from losing all self control is to get a handle on it from the start

These self conflicting battles often leave us feeling like we are trapped in a cell

Your mind more times than not becomes your own private hell

When left alone with nothing to do but think

This is when we feel we are just about on the brink

These dark cold thoughts are a reflection of every feeling and emotion that you have ever had

At first this darkness just leaves you feeling sad

Then as time goes on and you are left to sort it all out , it eventually turns to rage

It's dangerous at this stage

This makes everything that we go through and feel

Emotionally so much more real

Our first instinct is to take a key and lock all these demons away

Because the last thing that we want is for them to ever come ut to play
