A Colony of Giants

What is the lesson?

By Mark Stigers Published about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

Transformed by radiation’s burn,

nature has a message to send.

A colony of giant ants learn

To teach a harsh lesson to the humans.

Chernobyl made a mess

No human lives near by

To clean it up they did their best

Still many people died

In our radio active home of dread,

we were mercilessly attacked,

but the colony had already spread-

too late to stop this dark fact.

Where do we loom?

Can they find us all?

We are coming soon-

What is next to fall?

How do you stop us,

If you don’t know where we are?

While your plans you discuss,

we will spread near and far.

So if you are investigating

Something odd you think,

While people are debating,

We will push you to the brink.

This is a chilling take on nature's revenge, where radiation transforms ants into giant, unstoppable forces! The unsettling theme of being unable to stop the inevitable keeps the story thrilling!✨
