A Collection of Micropoems
Sometimes less is more.

Distressed.
Breathing less.
Like driving in the lake.
I’m swimming in a sea of people;
A lost voice within this murder of crows.
***
I’m the villainess,
From which all evil stems.
Blame me.
Regurgitate indignation
Produced long before your time.
Surely it’s true…
Surely?
***
Her radiance regaled tales
Impossible to speak of.
A glowing effervescence.
Only attainable from
Shattering her shell.
***
Snowflakes.
A breathtaking way
The world records its
Natural state.
Microscopic manuscripts
Written by a
Natural entropy.
***
Corruption.
The parasitic invader.
Squirming in the darkness.
Feasting, growing.
Illuminate it,
Adjudicate and…
Execute.

About the Creator
Caitlyn Wenzel
I don't live to write, I write to live.
Poetry is what I need in order to feel human again, and again.
Let me transform the unspeakable.
I hope my words can reach you.
