A Cold Afternoon

I'm warm in my thoughts of you

It's hostile in your house again

You've woken up with dry mouth again

Oh how nice

You need that sweet nectar,

cause it relives the pressure

Of your life

A cold afternoon,

but I'm warm in my thoughts of you

The storm I was looking for,

but so delicate underneath it all

This afternoon

I am warm in my thoughts of you

You've passed out on the couch again

You've woken up feeling down again

It's alright

No more sweet nectar

Give me all of your pressure

You are my life

A cold afternoon,

but I'm warm in my thoughts of you

The storm I was looking for,

but so delicate underneath it all

This afternoon

I am warm in my thoughts of you
