A Christmas Wedding
Snow lay in silence,
on the chapel steps white,
we walked into the light,
our hearts intertwined tight.
Candles lined aisles,
their flames held our vows,
bells sang above,
as the wind bowed.
Your hand in mine,
the choir’s voices rose,
our first kiss was a promise,
as the cold wind froze.
Outside, the world slept,
inside, we burned,
our Christmas wedding
was the love we learned.
The wreaths swayed gently,
as we turned to leave,
every glance was magic,
every smile, a reprieve.
Laughter and carols
followed us home,
our hearts found a rhythm,
we’d never walk alone.
Through frosted windows,
we dreamed side by side,
a life bright as candles,
with love as our guide.

A Hallmark wedding for this is a poem that would be great for a Hallmark Christmas movie. Good job.
