A Chore of Love

Nature's Glee

As the sun peeps its eyes, to show its face

I venture out to nature's tender grace

With sleepy eyes and dreams that almost unfold

I take the goats out and finish my dreams – the stories told.

The dew-kissed grass washes my feet with gleam

A silken carpet, I observe nature's precious theme

Securing knots with practiced hands, I care

Ensuring safety, no fatal accident in the morning air.

As dawn awakens, colors paint the skies

The goats graze content, their hunger subsides

I watch them with a heart filled with glee

In harmony with nature, wild and free.

As evening's veil descends upon the land

I make haste toward my duties at hand

Together we stroll, to our destination – home

A gentle rhythm, stories of the day’s lessons as we roam.

With the setting sun, the day's tasks complete

A chore of grace, a love so sweet

With each day's cycle, we find our way

In the bond we share, forever we'll stay.
