A Children's Story

story poem

boat (my own)

One day on a very hot summer's day in the South.

The children had a wish that they could go on a boat ride,

somehow and some way.

The children sat around their little wading pool and started to

THINK!

One child named Kaleb had the idea of going to a lake, and the only thing about that is they had to ask the parents. That lead to someone asking them. They all wondered who should ask this important and cool idea.

They, meaning Maddie, Logan, Ana, and Trinity liked the idea of going to a lake and renting a boat, but they needed a backup plan just in case the lake plan fell through.

They all decided to accept a day at the local pool if the lake plan fell through.

They all went to ask about going to the lake on this very hot Sunday. Believe it or not the parents agreed and the lake and boat ride was a Go!

They gathered all they needed for the day from food and drink to sunscreen to swimsuits and any other things that may be needed for a safe family day at the lake. Off they all went for this very hot Sunday.

(Please read, comment, and tip for it would be really appreciated.)

Funny Mark ~ I think we had the same 'Art' Teacher ~ Mine - with no subtlety - suggested I drop the class. Please see my intro rendition on 'Dear Dad' maybe you can give me some helpful hints? J-Bud
