A Cat Makes a Fool (I want a Retriever)

Poem

By K.A. SmithPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Cats on a sunny day
Fuels.
When paws flourish,
Magical... a duel.
Can't find, half-blind...
Misruled always.
Fights, need a tool.
Gnats surround,
Surrounded by demons,
Ghouls.
These felines have eaten,
Is now fat, and drools.
Cats give me nightmares...
Making a fool?

Your poem beautifully captures the enigmatic and often mysterious nature of cats.
