A Call to Resilience

Winner Move

By Archan PandaPublished about a year ago 1 min read

When the laughter rings and the words cut deep,

You sit in silence, letting your fears creep.

Before the blows, find strength to fight,

Remember your dreams, the light you ignite.

What were you trying for? What's your gain?

The noise around you feeds the shame.

Hearts may be broken, but don't lose your hope,

You're meant to soar, not just cope.

You lost friends along the way, love's hard to see

But you cannot give up; the cost is too high.

Your story is unwritten, not to die

A good ending waits there, yet to try.

Present them all with all you can hold true,

The impossible on your list, too.

A scarred but living city, strong,

Start today and dreams will grow all strong.

Stop gazing at others, now's your time,

No more excuses, time to draw the line.

Take a stand above things that bring you to doubt

Maybe just believe in you; reach out your hand.

The fire's lit and one bold decision takes us back in the game

Unlock roads which are new; the fire is lit

Believe in yourself and trust in your heart

You are meant for greatness-this' where it starts.
