Some disappear...to re-emerge stronger.

A butterfly's

Wing

A prism

Colors

Spread

Colors

Crack.

The air--

Collapses on its

Breath

A line

On the

Grass.

Colored patterns

Vanish

Wings fold

Still

Shadowed

Dark

Empty.

One

Shade

Stays.

Green.

Moving.

Waiting

For

Change.

That orange is so lush. I had to click. I really do love the way you format your writing. I don't know if this is how you've always done it, but every time I come to your neck of the woods, I just love it. The blue butterflies guiding my eyes is just lovely πŸ‘ŒπŸΎ This was a rather interesting take on the challenge. The introduction gave nothing away. Despite the butterfly, you showed us how far your mind could go. The flow of the poem, was like the flutter of the butterfly, fast yet evolving. Nicely done, Michelle πŸ€—β€οΈ

Those scary horned things in their pre-butterfly form usually destroy my tomatoes. I've never seen them reemerged. Great poem, Michelle.
