A Betrayal, Soap, and a Plane Ticket
Trust undone...
In shadows cast by gleaming moon,
Lies a tale of heartbreak's cruel swoon,
A betrayal deep, a trust undone,
Unwinding like a thread, yet spun.
Once upon a soap's emollient touch,
A bond was formed, oh, how it meant so much.
The lather's embrace, a cleansing tide,
Promised warmth and trust, side by side.
But alas, beneath the suds' disguise,
Dwelled treachery, as vapors disguised.
Whispered secrets, an unsavory scheme,
A soap opera's plot, it would seem.
Like a plane ticket, held in trembling hands,
Destiny's path etched across distant lands,
The one who loved, now deceived, betrayed,
Upon a precipice, his soul bewrayed.
Like drops of water, tears cascade,
Upon a heart that feels betrayed,
Their love washed away by careless words,
A broken trust, a realm absurd.
The soap, once a symbol of purity and grace,
Now tainted by deceit's grim embrace.
And as the plane takes flight, leaving love behind,
A wounded heart learns how to heal, rewind.
Through the valleys of anguish and despair,
Resilience blooms, though pain is there.
A betrayal borne, yet strength prevails,
Scattering hope's seed upon life's trails.
For a betrayal's sting, though sharp it seems,
In time, unfolds the sweetest of dreams.
And like a phoenix rising, reborn anew,
Love conquers betrayal, emerges true.
