A beautiful poem of the day yet night

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change and the courage to know the difference

By Phoenix RosePublished 4 years ago 1 min read

As I sit

In this chair worshipping a God

I think I’m wrong

Maybe I’m just knocking heavens door

Pearly gates

I bless all

I take you all in

Sanctified

And rectified

For my blessings are pure

And to doubt is unsure

Oneself needs remain

For present the one who stays

And does betray the holy name

I gave my child

Born from dust

One like you

One like me

One of both

That chershes truth

I love all

Yet some fall short

Of grace contort

I find myself lacking it all

Befallen

To dance this dance alone

Why lord

Pray my sins to the son who bled

The Buddha who payed for thy tred

For the gods I pray

We must stay

Fight

Dance tonight

About the Creator

Phoenix Rose

to be or not to be, is a question indeed. To thyself be true. And, like the water cuts through a ridge. A tundra of snow like emotions.

We dance along the ocean.

Forgetting not who or what we are

Grant me the serenity of peace
