A battle through the storm.

A thrash, a quake, a downpour of the rain,

A pitter, a patter, thunderous disdain,

A shock of lightnings flash,

A swirling of the tides and seas,

A scent of burning smoke and ash,

A calling of desperate pleas,

The fire that rushed on through the boards,

With raging shouts and plundered stores,

The sound of the pistol, withdrawn swords,

A battle upon the oceans floors,

The rising of the tides,

Crashing of the waves,

Coldest wind that dare confides,

The holding of rope, then saves,

A shaking, a tossing, the battle rages on,

Against the powers and wretched salty dogs,

The battle lines, then drawn…
