Red.

It means shades of satin,

Coveted by lovers,

Naked bodies draped in these covers.

*

Red.

It means love, danger, and passion.

Soft lips; harsh words,

Ignited with no compassion.

*

Red.

It means energy, anger, and lust.

Flames burning with desire, an uncontrolled fire,

It is a color that you cannot trust.

*

Red.

Tantalizing and pleasing,

The whisper of a touch,

Antagonistic and teasing.

*

Red.

Crimson life-blood,

The building blocks of life,

Bursting from our veins in a flood.

*

Red.

Sweet candies, sour berries

Whipped cream topped with

Juicy cherries.

*

Red.

It invokes caution,

Forbidden and dangerous.

A sensual affair in blossom.
