An English Sonnet

The Summit drips and hangs along the wall,

A sign for those who want to solve those hips.

I'm busy with my coffee-jamming call

And have no time to think about those lips.

What stands against me is a lack of time,

As others tell me that it sails away.

Indeed, I've sat for half an hour in rhyme

Attempting label on an Angel's sway.

-

But never have I known the Angel's touch;

I always bat the feathers 'fore they land.

I am allergic to the soft and such;

I am a parry to the fittest hand.

Welcome to cowardice– Don't think we've met:

I am the knife to every woman's net.
