A Poem

The sun hides

As the moon looks at me with adoring eyes

My heart betrays me with its lies

But my brain keeps me wise to my demise

There is danger on this path

But I still want to roam

To make the moon and sun my home

But I am adrift in rolling seas

With no land to see

Stuck in a haunted dream

A shell

Remembering the last place of happiness

What happens to us when the bad times take over

The control is lost

There is no free lunch

All has a cost

The sun is rising

And the moon must hide now

Will I see it again

Or will I meet my end

And which would mean blessing & which would mean curse? Either? One of the other? Both?
