That four letter word
LOVE
What does it mean to love?
What is love?
Is it something that you can touch?
Taste
Hear
Or feel
Like butterflies in you stomach
Or that gratification when you see that "Good Morning" text
The first thing known to you from birth
Is LOVE
Your mother holding you in her arms
You being her pride and joy
You've always know what love is
From your first kiss
Hugs
Being called cute
And just being shown the right amount of attention
But something can hold you back
Or deteriorate you from that path
That four word
HATE
Sheesh!!!
Have you ever hated someone?
Has your heart been battered and bruised?
One of the most powerful words
So powerful that HATE can takeover LOVE
And surround you with a cloud of darkness
Pain can drive you to do ridiculous things
You can shun out the world
Life is so hard for people to choose
Between LOVE and HATE
But without one
Who are YOU?
Just another person described as
A four letter word.
