Freeing for mind & soul.

Challenging for physical self.

Seemingly always drawn into nature at the exact right time.

Away from the majority,

Just me & the bird sounds.

Wind gusting through treetops becoming the soundtrack for my camp.

Exploring my surrounds,

Fascinating country.

I step with confidence, determination if you will.

I stomp with meaning, processing what is.

I stumble & tumble & fall to my knees, what the fuck am I doing, go home & be.

But here is home, & Mother Earth catches my every fall. Landed & grounded, it’ll all be okay.

Pick yourself up & get back on the way.

As I find camp, & that journeys complete,

Pride & satisfaction, just what the heart needs.

Faith in what is, and where I have been.

And what is to come, let’s see where that leads.
