21st Century Dating in your late 20s

My unsuccessful dating life in this online world

By Gabrielle CoriolanPublished about a year ago 1 min read

In whispers soft, a tale begins..

Of love that danced, of hearts that spin!

Two souls entwined, a fleeting flame

A week that passed, yet not the same.

In echoes sweet, their laughter sang.

Through moments shared, a bond that sprang.

But in the hush of time's swift grace,

Revealed a shift, a change of pace?

Words fell like stones upon the shore,

"I've found another," the truth, no more.

A week of love, for what was a blink in time!

I'm left behind, what a bittersweet chime.

My heart? It's now a canvas, painted sore.

Emotions swirling like an open door.

For love's own course, a winding track,

In lessons learned, a strength I pack.

Though brief the dance, the pain may sting,

The past shall fade, new joys will bring.

For in each chapter, love's design,

Resilience blooms, my heart will soon shine.
