2025: A Landscape of Resilience
Honoring the Passion of Effort and the Peace of Acceptance
Thank you to myself for trying my best, and for accepting what I couldn't do. Standing at the tail end of 2025 and looking back on this year's events, it feels like a journey through typhoons, torrential rain, and blazing sun. There was the passion of giving my all, and the grace of accepting what I couldn't. Looking up, there are trivialities; looking back, there are magnificent landscapes.
This year, I achieved the most important growth: the space between "doing my best" and "respecting what I can't do." Thank you to the version of myself that did my best. Thank you to the self that always carried a little sun in my heart—staying up late to earn more, and repeatedly seeking a balance between family and self.
This "doing my best" is not about blindly competing; it is about living up to the passion in your heart. After all, the real regret isn't "I didn't do it," but "I could have, but I never tried." Thank you to myself—the self that never stopped, even when moving slowly. This resilience allows me to be worthy of every moment.
I also embrace the self that "can't." This year, I learned to gently bow my head and say to myself, "I respect what I cannot do." Some roads, no matter how hard you try, cannot be walked quickly; some roles, no matter how much you yearn for them, are difficult to perfect. Admitting "I can't" isn't admitting defeat; rather, it is creating breathing room in life.
