You told me you loved me today

well,a year ago, today.

and I know you still do even though the way's changed.

but that day it was true-I swear I could tell-

from the way that you told me, and the way that it felt.

And , because you had said it on accident- the night before,

you were buzzed, it was happy, you were smiling even more

then you said it again by the waterfalls

you planned when and how

but then it came out

when you didn't expect, when you had food in your mouth

and i know that you meant it-

and i said it too-

and I promise, I meant it, when I said it too.

Love changes like life does, but it remains true.

I know that you loved me. I know in a way you still do.
