100 ways to make a llama dizzy?

Curious? Tipping it upside down

Maybe blindfolding it, changing its environment

From South Australia to Scotland

So was I, until I started thinking

and felt my mind wander,

and remembered

the shocking, disgusting truth

about the beautiful Amur Leopards

there are only roughly one hundred

still living in the wild

then forgot about the llamas and dizziness—

all I could feel was the blind rage,

the desire for 100 ways to make

loggers, hunters, industrial businessowners, and farmers

pay a weighty price... for cutting the majestic beast

to almost extinction like its majesty was nothing

There is no excuse, justification, and yet no recompense

Dished out to those deserving

like an unrelenting, fierce storm.

Well, it started out fun... Great statement made here, sir.

  • I went from laughing to heartbroken. That change of emotion was so unexpected. I really thought it was gonna be a hilarious poem. But who am I kidding. It you, Sir Paul 🍩🥐

This is an amazing bit of poetry, Paul. From its silly opening to the righteous rage of its closing. You really know how to harness the power of passion in your art!

This will certainly be a one of a kind entry! I thoroughly enjoyed it and I imagine the panel will too! Thanks for bringing some great stream of consciousness presence to the challenge and some awareness about the Amur leopards!

Way to Go! Llamas should just be wild to do what they do not to be 'harvested in a way.
