There's something about you,

That I can't seem to make sense of.

If I didn't meet you myself, I wouldn't believe it to be true,

You definitely have my full attention as it is you that I think of.

One simple letter that seems to wander through my mind,

It's too early to tell but I feel as if we will grow closer in do time,

May these words wander in your mind as you surely do mine,

I'm afraid to share these words with you so I tell the world, in Short Rhymes.

Your sense of humor is what attracted me to you the most,

It pairs very immaculately with your kindness & beauty.

I don't know why I feel the need to write so much for you, but I just find it hard not to boast,

Someday I'll have the heart to tell you all of this, as this poem is 1 For V.
