1.1 Tethered Dreams
Longing for the skies while rooted in doubt
By Anu's QuillPublished 9 months ago • 1 min read

I want to conquer the skies—
but earth's petals root me still.
I yearn for heights beyond the crowd,
but my inner sloth murmurs, "Not now."
I long to write,
to etch my voice upon the wind,
but i bind myself
with chains of comparison.
A thief of joy,
of worth,
of wonder—
yet i welcome its sting.

Anu's Quill
I’m just an existential wanderer who happened to stumble into poetry. I think about writing more than I actually write—not the best poet, but trying to get better, word by word, as I share my thoughts and voice.
