Symphonic strains of sun-kissed leaves
In twilight’s embers glow
Lullabies of an Autumn breeze
Echo their tones in sweet repose
Nectared wine of scents divine
Cascade upon arcadian air
Euphonious pleasures of harvest time — nature’s peaceful chorus of care

Sensual piece of nature: gorgeous!
This feels far too ALIVE for autumn!
My favourite line is this one ‘Nectared wine of scents divine‘ Love the image you chose for this. It feels like a friend walking us through a wonderful autumn day.
Incredible use of rhyme! This was hypnotic!
The irony that you describe such a beautiful sound with an acrostic spelling silence is not lost on me!! Love this RM!! You are/ were on fire for this challenge!!
This is great!!😊💕❤️
One amazing line after another! This is incredible!
Autumn brings out the best in poets and this is no exception. Such images of sweetness and warmth. I loved this. Some great lines: "Nectared wine of scents divine" is just wonderful.
Beautifully classic.
Nectared wine of scents divine 🥰 I love the meter of this poem, it reads like a song 😍
Oh wow, that was so magnificent! Loved your Acrostic!
So beautiful! Totally gave me fall vibes!
Pleasantly sublime! And Symphony was a great word choice to go with Autumn. Great work, RM!
Beautiful words for a beautiful scene. Well done.
I'm ready for fall!!! This was so lovely and well written :)
"Symphonic strains of sun-kissed leaves", "Nectared wine of scents divine".....oh, but I love these lines! I am so jealous - would have loved to have written this brilliant poem. It literally rolls across your tongue (much like that nectared wine) and reverberates within your mind (with symphonic strains) as it is read. Well done....well done.
Nice acrostic and the wiggly letters reminded me of Thai or Druidic ancient script.
