We don't have to be anything. We don't have to achieve anything. We don't need to prove anything. Our only mission here is just to BE. We tend to want to be involved with many tasks to keep our minds busy and entertained. Truth is that our only task is to just BE. Be what? Be who? Nothing in particular? Just be who and what you wish to be. You can be a complete asshole as long as that is what you want to be. Set yourself free of expectations that were implanted in your hard drive for generation after generation. You don't have to be a doctor, nor teacher not lawyer if that's not what and who you want to be. Which also come to my attention that the what is very important as well. What do you have to do? What do you supposed to be doing? Nothing, nothing at all. Trees are just being trees, water bodies are just being bodies of water. Which by the way there is plenty of variety of trees and water bodies to chose from.
What I'm trying to say is that we don't need labels. We don't need to be or do anything .
I'm this, I'm that, I do this I do that, I suppose to be doing this, I suppose to be doing that, according to who though? You want to be a massage therapist to help everyone feel better and achieve their highest potential. You want to be a doctor and save lives. You want to be a lawyer and fight for people's rights. Truth is that you really wish to be in a crystalline beach enjoying a fresh coconut bowl water, absorbing every single particle of the sun light that melts every inch of tension in you mind and body.
How do you get there? How do you get to live the life of your dreams being and doing what you truly wish to be and do? . . .
Being and doing what you truly wish to be and do. You see, when we are forced by others and even ourselves to be what we don't wish to, we automatically lose joy. We tent to think or believe that we have to be someone in life to be someone. This might work for some time, but at some point, without even knowing what the issues is, you come to realize that being and doing what you thought you had to be or do is not what brings you happiness. In reality you just wanted to just chill in bed watching Netflix from Monday to Friday, hike mountains on Saturdays and sleep all day on Sundays.
The beauty of setting yourself free is that you have no expectations on what you need to be doing and be fucking proud of it.
Abundance and financial freedom come along the way. We can't expect to be abundant at the same time we are crying about how unhappy our jobs makes us feel. Change is very scary at first, I know. Letting go of self expectations is not easy, I know. Self judgement is a pain in the ass, I know. We are our worst judges, I know. All the excuses that you can think of, I know, I know them all. Been there done that. As a matter of fact, I'm in transition myself. In transition of just breathing and letting thing be, of letting myself be.
If this resonates with you, this might be the sign you have being waiting for. You are a magnificent creator. You have in you everything that it takes to be happy. You want to quit your doctoral degree to be a Netflix watcher and ice-cream tester, go for it. Who knows, you might start creating your own series and ice cream brand. The only thing that you can know for sure is that you will never know what y
Baby steps is all it takes to make this transitioning phase a one of ease and joy. No expectations, no judgements not assumptions. Ask yourself, what I want to be or do today? One day at a time.
