Why I'm Going Back to My Plant-Based Diet

For months I had been getting the nudge to switch to a plant-based diet.
It was around the time that I started to get deeper into my spiritual awakening.
I had been getting so many signs that this was something that I needed to do.
I would encounter people on a plant-based diet, articles would pop up, and then I started following a YouTuber that was big into his plant-based lifestyle.
I was intrigued by all of the benefits and knew my spirit was calling me to make the change.
When my mother called me one day out of the blue and declared that she had started a plant-based diet, this was the final confirmation.
I switched over to a plant-based diet and I loved it!
I noticed so many positive changes.
But for the past few months, life has stepped in and gotten in the way and thrown me completely off balance.
I am definitely feeling the effects…
And not in a good way.
Here’s a list of the positive changes I noticed while on a plant-based diet, and why I’m switching back (to my plant-based diet):
I was much more spiritually in tune and in balance.
I was able to manifest easier and I was much more spiritually aligned.
I had better mental clarity and less anxiety.
I was much less affected by the phases of the moon.
I slept better and required less sleep.
Digestion was much easier and I experienced less bloating.
It was much easier to maintain my weight.
I had much less gray hair to pop up.
My menstrual cycles were shorter and easier.
I experienced much less cramping and pain during my menstrual cycles.
I was less moody during my menstrual cycles and didn’t experience as much pms.
After my menstrual cycle, I had much less brain fog and fatigue.
An article by, Moira Lawler, titled “9 Scientific Benefits of Following a Plant-Based Diet” at everydayhealth.com lists other benefits of a plant-based diet.
Those benefits include:
Improved brain health
Improved heart health
Minimized stroke risk
Possibly lowering cancer risk
Type 2 diabetes prevention
Assisting in lowering blood pressure
Possible weight loss
Possible lowered cholesterol
Improved longevity (life span)
Other positives I've noticed:
Today, I woke up an hour earlier than usual and I was much less groggy.
I’m less confrontational. Things that would ordinarily annoy me that I would feel the need to address, I’m able to release it and let it go.
I’m seeing people in a better light and assuming the best rather than finding fault.
I have a lot more energy! Last night, I vacuumed the floor at midnight!
I feel much more peaceful and balanced.
I feel more productive and like I want to do more.
I feel more divinely in tune.
I feel more optimistic and hopeful about the future.
If you want to feel, look, and be better, try a plant based diet. It does wonders!
