What Do Colors Mean

What Color is This Week

By Cheryl A Nocera Published 5 years ago 3 min read

What do colors mean? Why are we drawn to them? Are they like a spirit animal? All of these are great questions. Time and time again colors have been shown to be a sign, meaning, and represent something of significance. I have been home for the past week, and I keep seeing the color green. Almost like when you see the angel numbers that come in threes. Yes, I know anywhere you look one can see any color they want. This is true, but what color is drawn to you. This week I have been seeing the color green, it appears in many things. For example, today at the grocery store the first box of tissues I got were green, a stone I was drawn to was green, and my jacket had green sticky beads on it (I did not put these on my jacket).

So what does the color green mean? At this point I am not really sure. I am hoping luck, because in a few days it will be Saint Patrick's Day, and I am part Irish. I also have a great feeling of luck, prosperity, and good things to come. I have been drawn to the color green for two days now.

How do colors relate to spirit animals? The same way you keep seeing a specific animal whether in real life, in a book, on the computer, or wrapping paper. That particular animal just keeps coming in various ways to you. The same way the angel numbers come to you. Colors can do the same thing. I know to many people certain colors mean certain things. "Colors hold significance for people around the world. Not only do colors influence emotion, but they also hold meaning in religion and various cultures. On this website I got this information from they have all different meanings for different colors, They also have the meaning of Green: Nature, environment, healthy, good luck, renewal, youth, spring, generosity, fertility, jealousy, service, inexperience, envy, misfortune, vigor. retrieved on (15 2021 March) www.incredibleart.org."

However, colors you see could mean something different for you. Put energy into everything you see everyday, and you will see the difference on how you view daily life. You have probably heard that purple is relaxing, and to some people it is very relaxing. For you another color be relaxing. Here is something everyone can try. When you have time, think about what the air smells like, what are you seeing with your eyes closed, what feeling are you getting, and how can you feel more relaxed. In fact, make a list of exactly what I said, and do a checklist. If you can try to do this once a week. Eventually it will become a habit for you.

I am telling this story so people who read it will look at colors when they are drawn to them, and see how they feel. Again, this is not going out searching for these colors. This is when you are suddenly drawn to a color, or alerted to a color. I am going to share a little secret of what I do. I like to make a wish when these things are presented to me. I am not saying it works, but I feel awakened, blessed, and loved when this happens.
